I don’t LOVE a lot of new music these days, but this song has really captured my heart and burned itself into my mind. We’re singing it as part of our family worship efforts during this advent season and, if participation is any measure, it is clear that I’m not the only one who is a fan. (Thanks to Joe Morrow for introducing us to this beautiful update to a perennial favorite!)
Caed here, I just read Proverbs 5. In verses 1-14 I felt like it talked a whole lot about about marrying a godly spouse and to listen when your teachers and mentors tell you something, you should take it to heart and discover it’s true meaning. In verses 15-23 it talked a whole lot about being satisfied with your possessions, spouse, and his/her body.
This is what I gathered from Proverbs 5. Over and out for now see you.
It talks a lot about how you need to receive wisdom. If you receive it, good things will come to you.
I’m going to choose my words more carefully today, so that I can give wisdom, too.
