So the Red Raiders beat Northern Colorado on the bb court tonight ...88-68 ... Kris and I got the sweet hookups from Mama Foster! Sitting courtside ... yes on the floor ... Grace P called me on the cell phone to give me a hard time about not wearing black and red ... honestly didn't think about it till she said something. oh well, so much for school spirit. Emmy was taking care of things for me in her RR cheerleader outfit. She's really fun to watch. Anyhow, I'm there sitting next to Jerry, the youth pastor from OBC, who generally gets the hookups from someone, I guess, and asked later who was on the other side of him -- these two guys really making me laugh at the volumes of smack they were talking to the refs and to the other team's players ... turns out they were the McDougals - our mayor and his brother! Total trip - they didn't look much older than me - they were wearing suits and looking all distinguished and stuff - but oh well. Anyhow, sitting on the floor was an awesome experience, ready to jump in front of Kristen if it looked like a runaway ball or out of control player was headed our way, feeling the floor move as the players (and cheerleaders) went running by, watching Bobby Knight kick the Sprite advertisement and curse at the players and refs, watching the other coaches console the players who he chewed out unnecessarily ... all was a real trip.
La'Cee worked so hard in my office today. It was a real pig-sty. She was amazing ... plugging away at filing stuff and chunking junk mail/reports/papers. It is gonna be completely over the top to walk in tomorrow to a clean desk. Those of you without offices probably can't relate, but try thinking about someone going through your dirty laundry basket and taking care of the whole deal - you come in to find your clothes clean and organized in your closet. It's like putting on a clean pair of socks after a long day of skiing. Anyhow - big thanks to her for that!

Started off the day with a visit to the baby doc. He wants to induce REALLY bad. I'm having trouble discerning if it is for his own convenience or really for K & C's health that he wants to do it. According to K's bio clock, the baby isn't even due until the 27th, but the sonogram's been saying the 20th this whole time based on his huge size. We want to try to go full term [up to the due date] so he's healthy and such, but geez - will we make it? I put Kristen on horizontal notice - doing those prego exercises to help the kid turn right-side up. His head is down like it should be, but he's facing the wrong way. So we're asking him to turn around. These prego exercises are pretty funny looking - and she's supposed to do them for 20 minutes three times each day. I need to take a video just to make her laugh 20 years from now.
BTW - Christmas and New Years were awesome ... if I think about it I'll update stuff here later.
